Head of Amazon – FMCG - Lead and Scale Marketplace Growth

We’re hiring on behalf of a globally recognised sporting goods brand, respected by professionals and enthusiasts alike. With significant momentum across D2C and marketplaces, we’re now searching for a Head of Amazon to lead the charge on one of our clients' most important growth channels.

This is a high-impact, commercially driven role with full ownership of the Amazon Seller Central business (UK, EU & beyond). You’ll take the reins on everything from product setup, international channel expansion, and Amazon advertising strategy to overall revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day trading of the global Amazon Seller accounts
  • Scale revenues and grow ROAS through strategic Amazon Ads campaigns
  • Lead Amazon listings strategy including SEO, A+ content, images and copy
  • Shape product selection per market to maximise conversion and category visibility
  • Manage promotions, seasonality, and pricing optimisation
  • Collaborate across brand, product, supply chain and operations for smooth execution
  • Track performance metrics and deliver actionable insights to the Commercial Director
  • Manage and develop a high-performing e-commerce executive
  • Expand internationally and advise on Seller vs Vendor, FBA vs FBM mix
  • Use automation and AI tools to streamline and scale Amazon operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience growing Amazon revenue significantly in a branded consumer business
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Ads, campaign structure, and ad budget optimisation
  • Hands-on with listing creation, catalogue management and SEO
  • Deep understanding of Brand Registry, Seller vs Vendor, FBA vs FBM
  • Strong data analysis skills – Excel, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and owning supply chain conversations
  • Project and team leadership experience – able to get hands-on but also lead strategically
  • Driven, curious, and performance-focused – someone who thrives in a growth environment

Location: Office-based (commutable from North London, Essex, Herts, and surrounding areas)
