We are excited to partner with a market-leading product brand proudly manufactured in the UK in their recruitment campaign to hire a dynamic and ambitious Head of Commercial to work alongside the Managing Director and Operations Director.

Our client delivers high-quality products that meet the needs of their customers both domestically and internationally and in high demand. As they expand their global presence, we seek a dynamic and experienced Head of Commercial to lead our client's sales, marketing, and new product development strategies, ensuring alignment with the business goals to drive growth.

Joining us as the Head of Commercial, you'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the Managing Director, a seasoned innovator and commercial strategist in the branded product space. This is a pivotal moment to be part of an ambitious team as they redefine their product industry.

You will create, develop and manage sales and marketing strategies that will build the company structurally to cope with revenue generation.   As the Head of Commercial, you'll be entrusted with the full spectrum of responsibilities for sales, marketing, and product development operations while fully understanding the commercials behind them. This includes the distribution of branded products to retail and wholesale partners globally.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to integrate commercial plans seamlessly across the organization.
  • Drive revenue generation through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market share.
  • Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets while maintaining profitability.
  • Lead and inspire Harrow's commercial team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to commercial activities.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying and addressing any variances.
  • Provide regular reports to the executive team on commercial performance, key metrics, and progress towards goals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market data and business performance to inform strategic decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial role, with a track record of successful strategy development and implementation.
  • Previous experience working with a branded product range.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 

I cannot offer hybrid work on this occasion. This is 100% office-based, and you must be comfortable travelling to the office daily. This is an incredibly vibrant team. They have been established over 50 years and are set to achieve 50% in the next five years!
