Our client is a leading sports brand with global distribution. They are looking to hire a Supply Chain specialist to support their team.
As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our client's products reach their retailers worldwide seamlessly. You will collaborate with cross functional teams, manage inventory levels, communicate with suppliers and demand planning.
This role offers a unique blend of analytical thinking, strategic planning, and relationship building with suppliers to drive efficiency in our clients' supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Supply Chain Manager - Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to execute the activities of the Planning Team, ensuring alignment with short, medium and long-term business objectives. Prioritise strong availability, efficient stockholding, and minimise OOS situations.
- Order Management - Manage the end-to-end order management process, encompassing order processing and master data alignment. Input sales orders and provide support for purchase order information using our inventory management software
- Supply and Demand Balances - Identify issues related to supply and demand imbalances and communicate them to demand and production planning teams promptly. Work collaboratively to minimise future availability issues and mitigate service risks.
- Schedule and organise product shipments by sea and road, with experience in dealing with imports from the Far East into UK /Europe; and exports from the Far East to various countries worldwide.
- Collaborate with freight forwarding suppliers to confirm shipments and update delivery dates. Work closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure accurate booking of incoming goods and fulfilment of outstanding orders.
- Reconcile system inventory with physical inventory and ensure accuracy
- Work with shipment timelines, proactively planning for public holidays and their impact on production and dispatch schedules.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to build relationships.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems
